An Anniversary to Remember! PDF Print E-mail
Thursday, 05 June 2008

It looks like this will most likely be Flights of Fire's final show at the Palace of Wonders and we plan to go out on a truly high note. If you haven't seen the show yet or want one more chance to feel the heat, now's the time!!

Sunday, June 8th - promptly at 9PM
Palace of Wonders

$10 cover

To celebrate the wonderful year we've had there, we plan to bust out our favorite past performances and share them one more time. We will have at least 17 acts presented by 12 of your favorite fire dancers. And as an added bonus we will have the beautiful miss Sherri as our emcee (as she's graciously agreed to fill in for Booger who'll be on another continent Sunday night). We will welcome Palace virgins Drex and Sean to share some of their mad fire skills. It's still not too late to catch Malibu's famous "Boobs" routine. If things go well, I'll be able to talk Fractal into a repeat of his latest fire staff routine that took my breath away at our last show. Of course we couldn't have a true anniversary show without Cari making the trip up to amaze us all. I (Miss Joule) will be back and burning the candle at both ends, and on my fingers, and my hoop... Lunar will be back with his hippy poi routine, Ian will show us that you don't have to have fire to be totally cool, and of course we will have a special "Surprise!" performer too. Silver and Patricia get romantic with dueling fire swords, and I plan to revisit some "Sweet Dreams."

Don't miss it!

Wow, has it really been a month since I last posted about the world of Miss Joule? Well, I did go to Costa Rica and that was an absolute blast! A yoga retreat in the mountains with fabulous people. I treated myself to a hot stone massage, a watsu session (like shiatsu in the water), and a myofascial release session. All my worries and tension melted away and now I'm ready for the hustle and bustle of summer time! Check out the shows for the great places you can find me hooping, spinning fire, or walking on glass!
