Tilted Torch gears up for their fourth annual spooktacular Halloween celebration at the Red Palace in DC on Friday, October 26th, and at the Opera House in Shepherdstown, WV on Saturday, October 27th.

Dust off your headstone and join the creatures of the night on an exploration of the magic and macabre of All Hallow's Eve. Tilted Torch's 4th annual Spook-o-rama gathers ghouls, ghosts, and goblins from across the east coast. International sensation PEEKABOO POINTE (NYC) will rattle your skeleton bones with her wicked burlesque. JONATHAN BURNS (PA) will shock you with his frightful flexibility. SHAKRA (DC) will enchant you with their eerily haunting dance. At the top of the witching hour, MALIBU (DC) will cast a spell on you with her vicious variety, while MISS JOULE (DC) will cause a hallucination with her pranks and potions. The head boogieman for the evening is the sinister femme-cee SHORTSTAXX (DC). With ghastly games and an outrageous raffle, Tilted Torch will make you scream for more! Over-the-top Halloween attire preferred.

Workshops with Peekaboo Pointe

Tilted Torch is bringing Peekaboo Pointe down from NYC for both Spook-o-rama and two workshops! Come learn from an amazing, internationally-touring, dynamic, and seductive performer! Peekaboo Pointe is offering two workshops. Register for one or both!

Workshop 1: Burlesque Booty Bounce
Saturday, October 27, 1:00-2:00 pm

Pow! Clap! Bounce! Shake! Pop! And SPIN! In this class Peekaboo Pointe, known as The Fastest Tassel Twirler from East to West, will take the tassels to the next level... lower. Moving them from Boob to Butt, in this energetic gyrating Ass-tassel class you'll learn to bounce and shimmy your booty and mesmerize your audience with 4 tassels! You'll learn many butt techniques to get it popping, shaking, bouncing and finally spinning! **Please bring a towel, yoga mat, and/or knee pads if your knees are sensitive and a pair of pasties. If you don't have any pasties, a couple will be available for loan or sale. $25 in advance, $30 at the door

Bio: Peekaboo Pointe is recognized the world over as the "Fastest Tassel-Twirler from East to West" and is undoubtedly "Seducing the World, One Stage at a Time."  She has performed all over the globe, most recently headlining the Australian Burlesque Festival (2012), The Edinburgh Fringe Festival (Vive La Cabaret), Sweden (Hootchy Kootchy Club), Dublin, UK, Australia (The Burlesque Ball 2010), Italy (MTV), and Spain (The World Famous Pontani Sisters). Peekaboo has toured with Lucha VaVoom, regularly with Burlesque-a-Pades and has headlined the Dos Equis Midnight Revue Tour.  At home in New York City, Peekaboo performs anywhere there's burlesque! Peekaboo is an accomplished teacher and regularly teaches her original workshops in New York and while she travels. She's also been a featured instructor at BurlyCon in Seattle (2011, 2009).
